UPCOMING PROJECTS

The work has just begun in March 2023 to establish a Goshala, Vocational training center, Chhatra Nibas (Students Hostel), Puffed Rice making and sal leaves plate making units for financial and social upliftment of Bankura District's local economical weak villagers at Bakadaha Village. All these are to be completed phase by phase within one and half year target period.

As KARMAYOGI is 100% non-profitable Trust and strictly likes to adhere with social service in economical weaker sections like past days, a skill development centre along with a students' hostel is also planned to be established.

One Part of the revenue earned from commercial establishments like. Goshala, Puffed rice making & Sal leaves Plate making units will provide the recurring maintenance cost of the total establishments while the other part of the revenue earned from the same source will provide the financial support to run the skill development centre and Students' hostel. Expecting about 100 local persons (Tribal dominated) will be benefited by having some kind of earning ways in this whole project.

Organic Farm:

Using of Cow dung in for Organic Farming to negate the hazardous effect of pesticides.

Considering this cow dung ( Gobar) and cow urine ( Gomutra) collected from goshala will be utilised in neighbourhood agricultural lands to promote organic farming. Primary idea and training to the local farmers in this regard have already been organised with the help of agricultural experts.

KARMAYOGI

KARMAYOGI-a name to carry out the Social Welfare activities in the fields of Education, Health, Social Equality and Self Reliance etc. It's platform for us to serve Humanity following the paths of selfless service to Jiva, as mentioned in Shrimad Bhagavat Gita and as taught by Sawami Vivekananda. The Bhagavat Gita says,” Karmanne Byadhikareste Maa Phaleshu Kadachana “, which means you have the freedom to perform your duties but you can't claim the fruits of your karma. On the other hand Swami Vivekananda had stated that Serving Living Beings is serving God Indeed. So to serve all forms of life selflessly, within our limited capability and resources is our Moto.

Organizing local sports tournaments, cultural festivals, and community events not only creates a sense of pride and identity but also promotes a healthy lifestyle. These activities serve as platforms for talent identification and skill development, nurturing the potential of individuals who might otherwise lack exposure to such opportunities. Moreover, the cultural events celebrate diversity and tradition, preserving local heritage while encouraging creativity. Every year KARMAYOGI organises sports events in winter and cultural activities in the rural belts to help the natives to overcome the complex gap between towns and villages contributing to a more inclusive and interconnected society.

In Sangskar Kendras Meeting with the guardians of primary students is essential specially in rural and backward area. Providing Water service in drought affected area

Water is an essential resource for human survival. In drought-affected District BANKURA, the scarcity of water sometime leads to severe health problems, dehydration, and even loss of life. Water donation becomes a lifeline for communities facing these challenges. Water donation in drought-affected areas is a critical and compassionate response to a pressing humanitarian and environmental need. Drought conditions have a devastating impact on agriculture. Water donation supports farmers in sustaining their crops and livelihoods, preventing widespread food shortages and economic instability. Keeping in mind this condition KARMAYOGI in its financial limitations installed a submersible pump in remote Bankadaha village of Bankura District to help the villagers by providing both drinking and agricultural needs water.
